this is sam the cat mark II as the first one i produced had too many polygons,i am quite pleased with this model but minght model a 3rd version of sam for my showreel watch this space.

this is a small fish animation i did. i wanted to capture the movement.and think it looks quite cool.I am aiming to produce a animation of a school of fish being chased by a bigger fish,for my showreel

this is a character i came up with when entering a manga drawing compotition.the only rule was to create an original winged character so i came up with kovac.my photoshop skills are improving but still limited ..

this is a gun muzzle flash experiment i was curious of how to make a gun muzzle flash in 3ds max . i am really pleased with the video .I had a small problem with the smoke of the missile but sorted that out in another render . i feel my skills are improving but i am still not as good as id like to be

this is my final lip sync i have not yet added a uv map . i wanted to concentrate on the phoneme animation ,i am really pleased with this lip sync video .it is not a sound bite i recorded the voice myself i hope u enjoy

i have added bones to two of my robot characters for my invisible arcutecture brief i like the look of these little robot animals i shall do a few practice animations this is the first.

i have remade dave the character i am going to use in my blackhole animation.i have now added morpth targets so that he can blink,twitch his ears and show simple emotions i am now happy with the quality of my character once boned i will start to animate.

I made a big mistake by not saving my file at regular intervals. i have inadvertantly lost my morpth targets for my face.The good news is i made my character a body whitch i am going to rig i will have to redo my morpth targets.oh well lesson learned

this is a simple emotion experiment .I wanted to show all the emotions i colud get with my face using morpth targets. I think i have most covered and even tried more complex emotions like glad and dissapointed.At the moment i am modelling a body for this character .I will then bone it and have a fully rigged character including the face ready for animation. I think I am accuring more skills and developing a deeper understanding of 3ds max more to come .

this is another experiment with trying to get my character to speak . in this little vid he says hay do you want some. i think it looks pretty good but needs to be tweaked .

and this is the short animation .of dave saying hello but in a realistic lab enviroment .i am not so happy about the quality of my video once imported into blogger all my vids seen to be much lower quality.All that aside i am pleased with my dnad concept.







this is a lab i desighned for my dnad blackhole animation i built it up in 3ds max from a simple sketch. I then spent time adding textures to get it looking more lablike.I then merged my original dave animation into the file. i am now almost ready to get this animation running .i just need to add a few finishing touches.

this is a character i made for a lipsync excersise for one of my tutors i polly moddeled the face from scratch based on a drawing.This was a really painstaking and lenghty process but id say it was worth it .because of the extra detail im my character i am going to create extra morpth targets to show emotion etc .
